Instantly forgettable. Technically it's brilliant. But story-wise it does nothing but borrow from other films and clearly it hoped the actors and budget would carry a pretty average experience. They could have made the same movie with half the budget.

Good atmosphere, but full of plotholes, macguffins and characters that only exist to jump narrative gaps or stoke audience empathy. Sloppy and a big let down at the finale.

Not a bad re-visitation. Its biggest flaw is that the first movie left very little room for new surprises.
