The ending was dragged out and unnecessary. The whole scene with captain America being an old man and giving his shield away.. that’s not what fans want to see. End Game was very much a political statement and very much strayed away from the authenticity of the characters. Thor (God of thunder) was a fat drunk unable to fulfill his duties and therefore gave them up. Now that was a nice moment but there are other ways to show that the avengers support women’s equality. Unfortunately that is how the god of thunder will be remembered. This film lacked the Stan Lee touch in my opinion. At the end of the day this is a super hero movie and the loyal fans were robbed of an appropriate ending to a historic saga of super hero films. With that being said..The first 80% of the movie was well done and brought back that genuine avengers/marvel nostalgia that we’ve all come to love. For example when they go back to New York for the iconic “circle” scene. I hope that in future marvel films, character integrity is maintained and these iconic characters are accurately portrayed.
