[Spoiler free] It isn't the story that people wanted, but it is beautiful and heartbreaking and executed well despite its complexity and ambitious ideas. Every optional artifact or area to explore serves the story and every piece of dialogue or note found has you hanging on to every word. The voice acting performances are incredible. The gameplay has improved from the original as well. Easily one of the best games ever made.
