I congratulate the cast in achieving their goal of creating characters that I either loathe or am irritated by. Cassie is so chaotic and needy, lurching from crisis to potentially fatal crisis, as to be exasperating in the extreme. Annie is ghastly in her brittle dismissal of everything that doesn't fit her narrative and treats Max as a sex/IT drone.
The villains are, of course, British (Scottish in Miranda's case) and two dimensional. Poor Michelle Gomez, who could act the rest off the screen with a glance, isn't given any depth. Even the titles and music leave my nerves in tatters. All in all, addictive!
