Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (Multiplayer) to me is a breath of fresh air when it comes to a good old fashioned first person shooter. The graphics are sharp and the gameplay is very fluid. It feels like you are controlling a human being to me. The firearms feel solid and sound powerful. It's not quite as fast paced as say MW2 but not quite as slow as COD4 so it's a nice balance of action without the constant chaos going on around you to where you feel like you cant move without getting killed. Your character blends into the surroundings giving you or the hostile the edge in a firefight. There are many great things I could go on and on about. I do believe if you are the high speed type of player that is into the jet packs and wall running you probably will find this to be somewhat boring. The game is still very young and there are something's here and there that could be nerfed and buffed up a bit. There isn't a whole lot to look forward to on the weapons side yet. Not a particularly large arsenal. Everyone seems to use the same gun right now but I'm sure that will change in the future. The campaign was great. I did feel like it was a tad short probably because I didn't want it to end. The story is good, the characters are personable, and there are many references that will give you a shot of nostalgia. I'm not going to spoil anything because I think you should try it for yourself. I do feel like this campaign is a bit harder than the others so you'll have to take it slow. I have never really cared for spec ops in the previous call of dutys and I really dont particularly care for this one either. I've only played the first mission and I really didn't like it. You are CONSTANTLY shooting and you feel like you've shot the earth population amount but wait there's more. You cant catch a breath and it gets quite repetitive. You can literally see the AI spawning on the hill and they never quit. So I'm not particularly impressed. Overall I'll give the game a solid 8/10 since it is very new and will need a little more work to bring it to the games full potential.
