I cried. The scene with the doctor who first prescribed oxy was contrived and felt heartless. Throwing up when she found what her son had done to feed his addiction felt real. Spencer saying there was no more high, just being well rang true. "Call your mom and tell her you are alive" after trading drugs for info....it hurt. Mom of girl who OD'd saying that you cannot save them but you'll hate yourself if you don't try...the mantra of every parent of an addict. How can we stop loving them? How can we give up? They lie, yes. But the beauty of who they could be lives forever in our hearts.
