The actors were amazing. Davis and Boyega did an amazing job with what was handed to them. If you love movies for the way they play with your emotions, then this is for you. If you want to watch a historical "based on a true story" movie that has any accuracy to events that actually happened. Stay away. If anyone tells you something different then they do not know the history of this event, time period or they just don't care to know the truth. I personally think that if a historical movie has "based on a true story" anywhere near it. It should at least get the major points of the story correct. It's like making a "based on a true story" movie about wwII. Then saying the Japanese only attacked pearl harbor to keep the emperor lead American government from using the atomic bomb against them in a war to attain the land and natural resources America wanted. Then America evaded China and conducted horrific medical experiments on the civilians.

GARBAGE!!! The souls of the characters are gone. The very core of the characters have been changed. The story line doesn't make sense. I can understand some changes to make it work for the tv format. But is it still Alice in wonderland if she is changed to a 42 year old alcoholic that was just in a coma from a fall. With the white rabbit , now an empty gin bottle she chases around to drink from. Is it a Harry Potter story if he is a spoiled rich child who's still living parents send him to hogwarts to be rid of him. He does terrible things and frames an orphaned , gentle student named Tom riddle (voldomort) for the crimes. While a teacher named Ron Weasly tries to stop Harry. Thats why these reviews are so terrible. If it was a stand alone story then I may enjoy them. But don't tell me it's based off of a beloved author and his books. Then change the very core and soul and tell me it's an alternate universe. Calling this a Terry pratchett story and characters is like saying "the goonies" was based off of the book "treasure island".
