Not only have I never seen another video game with the beauty of Final Fantasy X, I have never seen another piece of media, period, that can match its beauty. The gameplay is awesome and engaging, the characters feel human with flaws and development, the world is, and I cannot overstate this enough, breathtaking, and the story consistently sucker punches you right in the heart. Wrapping all this together, the soundtrack contains some of the best pieces of classical music I have ever heard and cements Nobuo Uematsu right up there with Beethoven and Chopin in my books. It's like an interactive Studio Ghibli. This is one of those pieces of media that will stay with you forever. I dare to say quite confidently that this is the best video game ever created.
