Where to begin, I think any true or old school Disney fans will be quite disappointed, at least me and my family where. The storyline has been stretched out to 2 hours while still managing to rush through bits of the storyline and instead fill it with visuals or new added bits. Most of the comedy from the original has been removed, timone and pumba have very little comedy left in them, and same for the hyenas. It has been replaced with excellent CGI, all the animals looked really good and talking didn't look stupid which I thought it might. It will probably be enjoyed by most people to be fair, my son who is 6 enjoyed it and said it was as good as the original, my daughter who is 3 and favourite movie is the original lion king was not a fan and asking for something else after 40 minutes, my girlfriend who's favourite movie is also the original lion king was not happy either but more on the fact it's meant to be a remake of the original and was changed quite a bit with some of the voice acting ruining what the characters where. Wouldn't pay for it again.
