Look, I actually liked this movie. It had a lot of elements that were fantastic visually etc. what bothered me was that this woman risked her life a couple of times, and especially when she climbed that ballon with frozen, cracked and broken hands. (Which in real life would have been completely blue or purple)
My issue was she saved their lives, he was out due to the cold and air pressure. He doesn’t even know what she heroically did to save them. Then has to houst herself back into the basket. The ending was disappointing!
All that male chauvinist activity at the university. This author could have really worked that story so that at the end, when He walks in to talk to the scientists, he’s treated like a hero and he’s talking and receiving all the applause. In that moment HE should have introduced HER. Broken that mold that rule of no women, because without her, there would be nothing to report. They would have died floating in the atmosphere. So the ending again was a disappointment. The Man takes all the credit she gets a mention. Not a happy ending at all!
