Pardon me to write this review as a person, thouhgh with music as a passion, but frankly with few limitations of taste for music and musicality. More especially, my inclination towards Indian--or Indianized--vlight or classical music. The western notes, I concede, should be heard and understood, before commenting.
In this light, 'Peepal ki chhanv', 'kya hua', 'Pyar ja Silsila' and 'zindagi' are the compositions that to me, are in the rankings of "should be heard again and again" to enjoy since the first hearing is always, I can say for anyone, is casual. The quality of music and singing would be more ear-friendly from the second hearing onwards.
Being myself a shayar--of no repute so far--the lyrics are uncommon but the singers have tried to keep the beher or wazan intact bringing symphony.
