Normally I'm not impressed with Keanu Reeves... And that hasn't changed, but his delivery of the wonderful dialogue can be attributed to his pessimistic character and so doesn't ruin the film, which is largely witty banter in a beautiful location with guitar music. It could have been a two person play as I'm not sure anyone else has lines. Interesting. Wynona was excellent...so effusive compared to Keanu s character. Anyway...I was surprised that critics didn't think more of it.
