This book is an excellent resource to gain insight on motivating students and advancing one's educational career. It also offers great examples of how Dr. Ingram overcame a multitude of personal and socio-economic obstacles and much adversity to reach each step in his life. This professional life includes from being a band director to now heading one of the largest teachers unions in the State of Florida, so he comes from a standpoint of having lived what he teaches about in this book. An excellent and inspirational read!
