It's a far cry from the original cartoon; the characters all hate each other for no logical reason, everything is so fake, the main characters are mean to everyone for no reason. the original cartoon laid how a bare-bones guide to what the show should have been. The original has all the fixings of teen dramas: boy problems, growing up, parental relationships changing, genuine girl friendships, a clear plotline for like 5 seasons. No reason why this show is the product of close to 2 decades worth of content.
