This film was truly amazing. MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD‼️‼️. Let me js say the way they totally destroyed and broke down Peter in this movie was beautiful , them showing how truly alone this poor boy is was great. From losing tony stark to being accused of murder and later on then losing Aunt may , they really wanted us to feel his immense pain. Them bringing in Andrew and Tobey once again truly brought back such great memories from their own movies and the way they all related to each others problems and said “With great power comes great responsibility” that really showed the sacrifices that comes with being SpiderMan. Andrews performance in this was absolutely astounding he really redeemed himself in this movie by saving MJ as a redemption for him not saving Gwen. Tobey too, you can really see how much he enjoys being spiderman. If you’re a huge marvel fan and you enjoy watching Spidey movies you seriously seriously have to go watch this movie. Alfred Molina, Jamie Foxx and Willem Dafoe really stole the show in this movie seeing them all back again reprising their role was really such a great experience for us Marvel fans. It was also really cool to see the more heroic/good side of Otto in this, once he had gotten fixed and was in control of his tentacles. In this movie we also see Willem Dafoe break down Peter so bad, by him killing Aunt May and us seeing Peter become more rageful to the point where he almost murders Green Goblin, this displays how evil the Green Goblin truly is. Pure insanity. Jamie Foxx did a great job as Electro, bro came back fresh asf with a clean fade but was still straight on demon timing right as he encountered Spidey for the first time. It was especially cool seeing Andrew and Max have a little chat after a while for they haven’t conversed since 2014, and it was pretty sad still knowing that Electro still thinks of himself as a nobody but Andrew reassured him that he isn’t which was great. Thomas Church indeed too played a fairly decent job as Sandman, we see him aid Tom against his brief battle against Electro but then shortly afterwards turns bad again as he strikes Tom (which was only because he thought that Tom was going to attack him) but it was good to see all these villains turn back to normal. Lizard played a very short role in this movie in my opinion, he was only there to say that Lizards are better and that was pretty much it💀.
