THE PHOTOGRAPH is a charming romance, with decent elements of comedy from supporting actors. But what struck me most were the mother-daughter relationships, for mark my word: this was not a superficial movie. On the surface, The Photograph might have been about romance. Deep down, it could be about be identity. Hence, the title of the film. Not a perfect piece, but highly enjoyable.
