A trailblazer. When Charlton Heston had a Black girlfriend in this movie, his conservative friends and supporters probably screamed "Bloody Murder "and dropped dead in the streets. I didn't care for his politics, but give him credit for busting down the door when it came to revolutionizing this subject.
