Kelly Gleason

I liked this movie very much and would recommend it - mostly for the fantastic acting, memorable characters and the recreation of a time and place ( loved the early seventies music playing in the car ) My only complaint is that the movie tried to do too much. Developing the relationship between Beth and Frank could have been the main thrust of the whole film and would have felt wholly satisfying. I felt the backstory carried too much unnecessary tragedy. It was like an excellent meal with too many side dishes.
