I can't believe I put off watching this show for so long. It was Brilliant! Spoiler: the ending was perfect. You realize that the only person that really made Midge laugh like that was Susie. Susie was her soulmate, in a non-sexual way.

The movie was alright. When I was in high school, I read the entire hunger games series that was available then (the first three books, aka the first four movies). The movies, in my opinion, were GOOD. I rewatched them as an adult and loved them. This movie however.....lacked. I have not read the book, so I cant really compare characters, but some of the acting was just a bit awkward. I think Ms. Zegler was a decent choice, although her southern accent would go in and out a little. Her singing was brilliant though! For the most part, she did good, except for a few awkward moments here and there. Mr. Blyth had his moments as well. Unexpectedly, I think Rachel acted better than him (im saying unexpectedly because I dont really like her, but I am putting those feelings aside). The movie was just overall awkwardly done. In my honest opinion, it did not compare to the OG Hunger Game movies. It was confusing at times as well, or it just didnt make sense. I found myself googling constantly to get an idea of what was going on. However, it was really nice learning the backstory of the hunger games!

People are so used to fast paced movies nowadays that they can't stand or dont have the attention span for a slower paced movie. I loved the fact that it was slow, not stimulating, and calm. People are also missing the fact that this is a movie. It isn't a biography and it isn't going to be completely accurate to what happened in real life. That being said, I thought it was such a well done movie! I will admit that I know nothing about Elvis or Priscilla, but I could feel her emotions through the screen. I could feel her lonliness and sadness, as well as excitement. And thank you for shedding some light on the horrendous age gap between the two. A ninth grader dating a 24 year old (which is my own current age) is crazy to think about. All in all, if you like slower paced movies with some drama sprinkled in, this is a great one to watch.

I liked NCIS until Ellie Bishop joined. Nothing against the actress herself, bit the character kind of.....sucked. The unnecessary drama between her and her husband made me roll my eyes every single time and I just couldn't continue watching. What drama, you might ask? The "we never talk anymore" and Ellie constantly nagging her husband for classified NSA information and then getting mad/upset/angry when he won't give it to her. She is very inconsiderate of him, IMO. Yes, I am fully aware that it's for murder investigations, but COME ON. Having had worked for NSA, she should at least understand why her husband can't give her information. Highly recommend watching until Ellie Bishop comes into play. Afterwards, it's up to you.

I have such mixed feelings about this show. It's not good but I can't stop watching it except it is good in some parts. Also, I'm not what goes on with Blake Lively's mouth. I feel like she's doing a model pout 60% of the time and it just rubs me the wrong way to see it in a show. She is a great (I mean fantastic) actress but her mouth expressions just seem off to me. Id give it a 3/5 stars. Would not recommend to a friend but not a bad show

Hmmmmm, where to start. Eh. I'm more of a marvel fan myself as I find DC to be more... bright disco lights. This movie basically met my 3 star expectations from DC (the only DC comic I've liked so far is the first wonder woman). It was cheesy but in a good way. Some scenes seemed poorly made, or perhaps poorly worded. Would I recommend watching it? If you like movies you don't to really think, then yes. In general, however, I would not recommend.

This movie is definitely up there on my list of favorite Christmas movies. I won't ie, it was obvious how the movie was going to end (as in who would end up with whom) but it is a well made- or at least in my opinion- cheesy movie. Who doesn't love a good cheesy Christmas movie?

Spoilers in this review: I could kiss whoever decided that the grandfather (James) wouldn't die. In the last fight scene, I was biting my nails (figuratively) and hoping he wouldn't die. And when he slit his hand, I thought for sure he was and I thought I would end up crying because he was a "no-good" father whose last act would be to save his son. Thank you to whoever decided not to kill the "conspiracy santa" lol. Okay, onto the review. I highly recommend watching this movie. I'm not huge on alien movies but I did enjoy this one. I do love a good science-themed movie, even if it wasn't really scientific. Also, I loved the student who knew about volcanos and how the other scientist said he wanted to be that kid. It had great humor in it and many suspenseful moments! Well done directors, cast, special effects,...!

So well done! From the music to the cinematography, it had me on the edge of my seat for most of the movie. I won't be getting into detail as to not spoil it but even if you do not like war films, I would still recommend this movie.
