After watching all 3 seasons of Frontier, I can say my below observations
Good:
1. Actors look committed to their role. Menace, Romance, helplessness and other emotions are portrayed well and almost flawless in my eyes.
2. Locations are breathtaking
Bad:
Direction and story: Overall makes no sense. Gets progressively worse with seasons. The story seems to be on the surface, details when needed are missing. Plotting though such an important thing in a historical drama, seems to happen over a smile rather than a negotiation. I was in no small measures reminded of the Bollywood love stories of 80s and 90s where the entire protagonists entourage are immune of death and injury. Even if something is to happen, its minor or magically fixes in seconds. While a punch from even a sub-sub-sub hero is fatal. English soldiers are depicted to have discipline and run about like headless chickens to be slaughtered. They run headon for yards to be killed by knives when they could have aimed and shot the opponents. If a little gore was removed, this is a children's fiction.
