They took everything that made the first game great and flipped it on it's head. They sacrificed good writing and storytelling for the effect of shock value.we love the first game for the story yes the gameplay was great and mechanics were good but the story is at the heart of that game and that's what many people loved and it's so funny and ironic that the one thing that people loved above all else was the thing that they destroyed the most.I will still acknowledge the fact that with the first last of us, naughty dog created arguably the greatest game that's ever been played,but sadly they followed up with a sequel that could not live up to it's predecessor. I never thought I'd give a game from naughty dog a one star rating but here it is. RIP Joel.
