The movie portrays Gertrude as being misled to abusing Sylvia. They underplayed the monster she was. The real Sylvia Likens was so tormented that I could barely read on about her 5 months with the Baniszewski. This movie was an injustice to her horrific abuse. It should never have been made.

If you didn't grow up with Full House, it is corny and cheesy. However, IF you did, it brings back so many memories and since I'm the same age as DJ and have a 5-years younger sister, I enjoyed the episodes and love the trip down memory lane. I love their references to Full House and love how they show that it takes a village to raise a family.
