I wasn't expecting much from an RPG without a major budget game studio behind it, but I was pleasantly surprised. It has its faults: clunky character movement, odd battle design, some bugs. Overall it's a charming game that has fantastic rpg elements definitely worth the time on ps now or x box game pass. Im excited to see what this studio can do with a higher budget sequel.

Much like AC Odyssey, this feels like Witcher 3 more than AC. I like it and it works well, but I do wish that assassinations were a little more relevant in the game. You get to customize your own town much like AC 3 and I love that they brought that back. I would have given this a 5 but one thing that was disappointing is the customization of the raiding crew. Any changes seem asthetic, it would have been a good addition to add stats to the crew members and quests/hires to add more powerful raiders.

Life is strange 2 is an emotional tale of two brothers who face oppression in the wake of an existential disaster. There are a lot of mixed reviews about the game which is an ode to the division in America. It is easy to get disconnected from the story if the player has never experienced oppression by the hands of society, the law or religion. Many reviews chalk this up to the game being too "political" but it is truly a lack of understanding and empathy in relation to the challenges the characters face. For those of us who have experienced this, or can imagine what it is like, the story hits hard.The first two episodes do a lot of character and world building which can feel like a slow pace. It picks up pace at episode 3 which afterwards is a wild ride with a phenomenal ending.
