Fabulously engrossing film. Captivating from start to finish in a gothic drab style. It is like invasion of the body snatchers and i am pleased i watched it. There are lots of unanswered questions in the film, but that is addictive because who wants a predictable and happy ending in every film you see ? This film is unique and mysterious. It is Indie in style and will leave you wanting to see a sequel. Another film this reminds me of is the alien abduction flick that starred Scarlet Johansson. I liked this The Broken because it is not your stereotypical who dunnit, where all is explained and neatly dissected. You have to fill in the blanks yourself, and make the conclusion to the story on your own. You are invited to understand the writers vision. It is 10/10 for uniqueness and originality ( albeit a little like invaaion of the body snatchers and the Scarlet Johansson horror).
