Having watched this show a lot I am always and alarmed at the number of chefs who use a mandolin without using the protective guard, and in addition actually chat to the presenter hence not even looking at the mandolin. In today’s age of health and safety gone mad they are always keen to tell people to wash their hands, I think they should be telling people not to use a mandolin without a guard even if they choose not to.
