People love to hate these movies. Personally I loved this cut. You can really see where Josh's inputs changed the over all feeling of the film, definitely pushing it into a more "Avengers" like feeling. This cut, however, doesn't do that. The majority of the silliness has been removed. This is not a childish hero film at all. The battles felt bigger to me, I loved the score that added intensity. The addition of the back stories gave me a feeling that Flash, Cyborg, and Auquaman deserved to be there, instead of just side kick extras. The additional battle scenes made Batman look more useful than in Josh's cut where he just looked weak and worthless. The added scenes also explained more, how did Louis end up at the shrine to calm Superman down? Stuff like that. Also not to mention the excitement of seeing even more characters added to this cut. 4 hours was a long ride, at the end I was definitely ready to be done. But I enjoyed it, immensely. If you are determined to hate this movie, you will. If you want to seek out flaw and issues, you will find them. Just enjoy it and stop expecting absolute perfection from every single movie. If you can do better, please do.
