I was born to and raised by lifelong blue collar Democrats. Daddy always told me that the elections, however, should be won by the Democrats and then the Republicans intermittently to keep the balance. As a 70 year old Registered Independent, I have come to regard today’s Democrats as having gone ‘over the edge’ when it comes to Presidential politics. Sorry folks, I just can’t accept their outrageous opinions. How can they possibly believe the vitriol they spew? I believe the two ‘Republicans’ on the panel have sold their souls for a great paycheck. I will still tune in to The View as I do my morning chores. I really enjoy the part of the program that is not politics. It was much better when Barbara Walters, a rational Democrat, was in charge. At least she looked for a program with balance. ”Five women with five different opinions”. All of today’s co-hosts are so far left they’ve lost all rational perspective. Signed, an old middle-class white lady. PS. The sooner we vote in term limits for ALL of our legislators, the faster our country will return to an acceptable political balance!
