I think its awful that Tayshia wasn't offered the Bachelorette! Millions of African Americans watch this show as well, and to have only one African American on this show ever as the Bachelorette and never an African American as the Bachelor is offensive. This has come up before and they pacified us with Rachel. We are all Americans and to think that this show still exist for this length of time without people of color in this leading role is shameful.
For them to think that people of color can't bring an audience to the television screen to watch is a slap in the face. We have proven we can in every industry of entertainment, through music, television and in movie theaters as well. I have been an advent watcher of this franchise since the beginning in 2002, and I've waited patiently for 17 years for this franchise to do the right thing. Love is colorless and for these (2) shows to act like we don't exist.... has to stop! I'm asking that all races boycott this franchise until they recognize the worth of all people!!!!! Undoubtedly, they know everyone wants love, and not just one race of people in these United States of American. I say, lets not watch until they create all people equal, white, black, brown, yellow, green, etc.
I love all people and all people should be given the same opportunity to experience love by this organization. We as a people, no matter the race should unite and fight this cause of overt discrimination from this careless and insensitive franchise until they do the right thing by all people. Please People, lets not continue to patronize selfishness and supremacy. We are a country that is bigger and better than that! Lets show them what can happen when we take a STAND!!! I will not watch!!!
