Show seems to be setup in India.
As a culinary professional, hotel management graduate, the show is not portraying any reality of kitchen life, not even 1 percent. The show is setup with a background of the leads being exes but famous chefs, where they've portrayed the part of being bitter exes perfectly but nothing as chefs is portrayed correct.
Let me explain:
1. The food shots are not real, they all seem like a fancy advertisement like how food photography and videographer is done, in reality it's very very different.
2. Chefs do not usually wear wrist watches, jewellery in the kitchen, for simple reason that there can be germ accumulation and can cause cross contamination.
3. Chefs wearing lipstick and makeup as if they're not chefs but models, this is never seen in a hard core busy restaurants kitchen.
4. All the chefs are shown with clean clothes all the time while cooking, even aprons.
5. No hairnets or chef hats or toques worn I kitchen to prevent hair falling in food.
6. The culinary institute scenes are extremely over the top and miles away from reality.
In short, the love story part is cliched and the kitchen part of it is fake.
