Shawn Levy? Ryan Reynolds? And Hugh Jackman? I don't really care about the MCU after End Game happened, but this movie? Highly reccomend watching in theaters. I lost count on how many times Wade Wilson broke the forth wall, and I love how he dissed on the new movies and called out Disney for a lot of their BS. I am so glad that Levy, someone who made my childhood better with his night at the mesume movies, made this. If it were anyone else, if it was one of those "woke" directors, I wouldn't have gone to see it.
Good story? Check. Good plot? Check. Good characters that actually feel like real people and learn as they go? Triple check. I remember saying this in a previous review: you don't get good movies like these anymore. The fact I'm getting excited for them again is a blessing in disguise. As a DC fan, I actually enjoyed how Ryan commented about Batman's mask and it made me laugh. Actually, a lot of moments made the whole theater laugh.
Go watch this movie. Highly recommend it.
