The first season starts off slow, but the pace is well done and the acting is really good. I think the chemistry between Tandy and Tyrone is excellent and some of the writing is well done. It deals a lot with issues of racism, oppression, sexism, and spirituality. And I look forward to seeing season 2, and I hope Tandy and Tyrone will actually have a relationship.
