*Spoilers* This movie is possibly my favourite movie ever, not the best made movie, but my favourite. This movie is the culmination of 11 years of storytelling and has the greatest send off to the original 6 avengers. Alright to get this out of the way first, that final battle is breathtaking, I love every minute of minute of it, from Hulk snapping to the fight between the trinity (Cap, Thor and Tony) and Thanos which leads to Cap wielding Mjilonir and of course the Avengers Assemble moment. Also seeing all the portals behind cap and all the dusted heroes came back. It was incredible. But I need to talk about Tony’s sacrifice. His final ‘I am Iron Man’ line, being a callback to the original Iron Man, was a tearjerker and then seeing all the heroes at his funeral, even Nick Fury was great. And then happy’s line about cheeseburgers was another tearjerker, as well as the I love you 3000 line. I also loved the send off they gave to cap, him finally getting his with Peggy and Falcon being the new Captain America. Cap deserved that sendoff but Falcon did not deserve to be the new cap. I always thought that Bucky was a better fit but oh well, Falcons cool I guess. And I cannot wait for Thor to be in guardians 3, he is going to be so great in it. But anyway I have to talk about the time travel section, it was great, loved seeing Thor’s mum, Star Lord dancing like a loser and of course Black Widows death. To be honest I’m not surprised that she died, seeing Hawkeye die would’ve been unsatisfying because he still has a lot of story to tell, with a daughter and all, but Black Widow herself said that the Avengers were her family and all she cared about so she was done. Her story was over, she went from a evil Russian spy to a selfless hero who would sacrifice herself for the cause. Although this would have been clearer had her movie come out before Endgame. And lastly the New York and 1970’s bits were my favourite I loved seeing the stuff after the actual first Avengers movie ended like with Pierce and HYDRA trying to get the sceptre and the hail hydra bit from cap and the cap vs cap fight. But I also loved Tony giving himself a heart attack and Hulk smashing down the stairs causing them to go to the 70’s. I also enjoyed Hulk and the Ancient One. But what I loved the most was Tony talking to his Dad and him completing that arc, setting up his death even more. Point is I loved this movie 10/10.
