I know there are some really low reviews on this but its a great movie. It was a very well done adaptation of the stage play, which if you are not familiar with the play, I suggest you read up and see some excerpts on You Tube. It is a musical, with some very well done singing and dance numbers. I must say I still favor the Cats Broadway cast that I saw in 1982 when I was living in the NYC area and managed to see it, but this is definitely well done and worth seeing. In fact, I have already preordered the DVD and would see it again
