Caroline Mallon

As someone who loves well done fantasy, I can be pretty quick to criticise the genre in general. This series starts off rather poorly but finds it feet pretty quickly. Its really diverse but not in a horrible token way and by the end you really care about the characters. Definitely worth a go though there's some quite unfair reviews of it. PS. King Uther is such a brat and it's great.
