I simply enjoyed it. I like the persistence of the soldiers, Matt's character stepping up to the plate to help them.

I seem to never agree with the critics. I loved the movie. It was entertaining. It put a smile on my face. I enjoyed watching the relationships between the characters. I hope they make another one.
