The first time I saw this film I hated it for the way it portrayed my home town. The truth is that itโs bang on accurate! Begbie, Sickboy, Renton, all characters that were somehow familiar to me. Now that Iโve come to terms with the movies honesty I realise that drug abuse and poverty are social ingredients found the world over. Danny Boyle does an amazing job of telling the story in all itโs grit.
