I really liked this movie! It’s not an action movie for sure but it makes you think about a lot of things. To me, the movie is about hope, courage and a drive to never give up because there is that “what if” question that is always present - in this case, it’s what if we CAN adapt to an altered atmosphere on earth but we leave it, and all that we know and love, because we gave up too soon. Also, at what point do we claim defeat? Defeat means different things to different people. Are they defeated if they don’t make the shuttle off of earth to a new colony or are they defeated because they gave up trying to adapt and live on earth? I have so much more to say but it would be a total spoiler!
