Smashing! Perfectly cast, really enjoyed the series and hope very much there will be a 2nd. Nostalgic, warm and comforting which we don’t see much of.

Very well done I have to say. I was sceptical having enjoyed the original series so very much but that being said thoroughly enjoyable. Whilst there is an amount of political correctness it is not overdone, great fun but lacks a certain grittiness which the first series in my opinion captured beautifully. Enjoyed very much though so well done channel 5, unlike itvs shocking attempt at remaking ‘the darling buds of may (the Larkins)!!!
