The hate is too much people really need to stfu. The gameplay is good. The story is good. Joel dying is necessary for the story to continue from tlou1, him dying fast and without being able to do anything about it doesnt "ruin the character". Its heartbreaking, makes you angry, and a great way for the story to begin. Playing as Abby isnt my favourite part of the game story wise but its gameplay its great. It shines light on her reasoning and makes Ellie seem like a complete lunatic, which is something most games dont do to their protagonist. Flashbacks were too often however, an actual complaint. The ending was both disappointing and good in a sad way. It's not as good as the 1st game. I think everyone can agree. But the game isnt bad. Idk why everyone thinks it is.

These games are better than the originals only because of hardware (even tho these games are buggy as hell, at least they arent slow). Platinum is still by far the best Sinnoh experience however. These games are too faithful to the originals and because of that the worst remakes in the series. Which is a series disappointment. Gamefreak should have never let ILCA develop a main series pokemon game, especially one the fanbase has been requesting for years. However this is still pokemon and so the game is what you'd expect. The E4 and Champion are EV trained with Egg moves which is fun and challenging and the underground is a good update. The graphics are the best in the series and it has the best battle designs even if they made the overworld chibi and ugly.
