Strange world was said to be about a dysfunctional family by other reviews but watching it made me think that the reviewers were simply expecting a certain type of movie with a certain type of characters. This movie celebrates modern family conditions including interracial relationships, homosexuality and pacifism. While taking the toxic masculinity of the past and adapting its effects to the way of peace. That goes against the expectations of the way movies framed families but that old viewpoint needs to change which is what the movie actually talks about. More movies need to address modern issues rather than storybook tropes.

The best television we could hope for from a talented cast of numerous different great shows!
