Love this series, entertaining and fun! Sometimes that’s all you need. Ahn Bo-hyun is perfect in this role. He made me laugh except for the last few episodes where scenes got pretty serious . I don’t know why but I like ‘Seung-ju’ at least when he was being the kind brother. Must look up more of Kwak Si-yang’s serials. Entertaining show with high enjoyment factor 👍🏼.

This drama is a real fun ride. Silly, funny and at parts cringey ( hahaha not in a bad way). Please do not expect a nail biting , intense psycho-thriller like Flower of Evil or Mouse. Look, the fact that the lead can tell things from touching butts is a sign - please do not take things so seriously lol.I They could have scale down on the killings though , too many . I laughed so hard especially the first few episodes. I enjoyed this series, easy breezy & LMK actually looks hot especially in the last episode when he’s back in Seoul.

Didn’t expect to like this drama as much as I did. What a pleasant surprise. Jang Nara - exceptional acting , she portrayed her role perfectly . Vulnerability + strength , my hero . I wanted to strangle the hubs and the desperate slitch but I know, I know they have their own sad stories. I hate the title of the show , it doesn’t really capture the emotional and life’s lessons quotient of the whole series. The pace picked up as the series went on ( after episode 7 i think) , I was hooked. It’s intelligent,heartfelt and mature. Enjoyed it , truly.

LOVE, LOVE , LOVE !! Can’t express my appreciation fully in words yet , just saying that this is the first series in 2023 to evoke such varied emotions from me watching it.

I really like this drama. Quite unexpectedly I must say. The characters are endearing especially the three bachelors hahaha. They’re so funny, the humour seems natural ,sometimes I feel like are they ad-libbing? The plot is simple and the cases are alright but it’s entertaining and the ML gets pretty charming as the series goes on. Heartwarming and fun , can’t wait for the final 2 episodes this weekend.

How do I put into words the beauty of this drama? The screenwriting, the evolution of storyline, the cast and the chemistry between the characters aaarghhh I am overwhelmed. If you’re looking for those lighthearted, fantasy or melodramatic big bang effects in a drama you’ll be disappointed. This drama touches me beyond the superficial tropes of the highest viewership rated dramas. Not many will be able to appreciate this masterpiece and to each her own. It’s ok. I initially decided to watch it cos of Kim JiWon , love her acting , her delicate beauty but soon I got sucked in by the enigmatic, mysterious Mr Gu ( magnificent Son Seok-Koo).The dialogues then drew me to all the other characters in the show . A sensitive, poignant and BEAUTIFUL series. I hv to rewatch the episodes through out the week to pass my time waiting for Sat & Sun . That’s how much I enjoy it. Everytime I rewatch an episode , I gain new perspectives on the story and life even. AMAZINGGG !!

This drama touches me in so many ways. Not many will find it appealing especially those who prefer ott ‘drama’ moments or ott visuals lol . Not an issue, to each his/her own. For me though, 39 is a mature, serious but still fun and well thought out drama. I could relate to it as I’m lucky to be blessed with such a friendship too in my life. Son Ye-jin aahhh …fantastic acting as always and somehow my heart goes to Cha-young’s parents too. Lovely to watch .

Hi there! I hv just watched this series cos I’m a newbie when it comes to Kdrama ( crash landed on Kdramas during the pandemic hehehe). I wanted to revisit the older dramas and my friend recommended this . It’s so beautiful, simple production ( cannot compare it to current productions) and so heartfelt. I love the progression of the story, the cast and the uncomplicated but touching screenwriting. I cried so many times. I am really enjoying these ‘retro’ dramas of the early 2000s. They bring me back to simpler more carefree times. Love JiSung, Eugene and Lee Bo-young . Look where they are now!! They’re more good looking than ever :)

This show really solidifies my view that makjang genre is not for me. Over the top, shallow characterisation, throw in everything “overdramatic” except the kitchen sink in the plot .To those who enjoyed it, good for you ! We all have our preferences and ‘taste’ . Give me beautifully written script with wit and authenticity anytime which I have seen in quite a number of Kdramas , just not this one. Enjoy the view (pun intended) from the Penthouse to its fans out there. Cheers !
