I felt that this remake was done too safe. It didnt try to step out of the box, like the 2002 remake; which was much much better in my opinion. This one with chloe grace morertz started out promising, and had lots of potential, but lacked in so many ways. The film was way too short, and just copied the original 1978 Carrie; which would put this 2013 remake to shame. I like Chloe Grace Moretz as an actress.Im a fan of many of her films but she was miscast as Carrie and should of went to another actress. Dont get me wrong this remake wasnt terrible, it just wasnt rememorable or great

This reebot is terrible in one way and good in another way. When i watched the trailer i was hoping there would be cannibles just like the original. The film aspect looked big budget and the beginning of the film gave me wrong turn vibes then as the film progresses it turns into movies like The witch The wicker tree and Midsommar. I was disappointed to find out there were no deformed cannibal eatting killers but just regular people who are in a cult. The killings was real but it would of been better if they stuck to the storyline of the first film.I felt as i was watching a complete different film. I have to say the 2003 Wrong Turn is spectacular compared to this
