I watched it just to see the expected climatic payoff of what seemed like a long journey. It couldve been cut down to maybe even 8 episodes to get to the point.
Also, I know that kdramas, despite having exaggerated (for TV) cultural/society norms, but are still based on reality, I found myself resenting the mom's behaviour to the point where I found it unbelievable that the main lead (the son) acted the way he did. Cause then the show should be called "bad mother, great son"
