Walked into the theater to watch a monster movie, left the theater after watching a great monster movie. Why people over think it idk, but I've watched several of the old toho films with my(obsessed) spouse and we loved this movie. I didnt show up to watch seven and the rest of her teenage posse fight creatures nor the psychic lady from insidious do hocus pocus spooky stuff. This is a fan movie or for ppl that wanna see big monsters tackle each other. The fight scenes were incredible and had me holding my breath. I'll probably go watch it again tbh!
