I think it sucks because it has nothing to do with the Halloween storyline. It should have been made it's own film separate from the Halloween storyline. The movie would have probably received better reviews. But it is what it is a sequel that has nothing to do with Michael Myers or Laurie Strode or the Halloween storyline so many fans of Halloween don't like it.
