FA Rayyan – Google

Such a well made Netflix thriller. A slow burner for sure, but well worth the wait. The 1*-3* reviews have been written by truly dense people, who have single digit IQ, with information fed to them through Facebook or the village idiot. Everyone knows the hijackers were Muslim. They used Hindu names as a code. You only need to Google this for literally 5 minutes to find your answer. As if India would ever make anything remotely pro-Muslim when BJP are in power.... Anyway....Great series, excellent direction, amazing cast.

What an awful adaptation of a beautiful book! The fact that Colleen Hoover was involved in the adaptation blows my mind. Blake Lively is such a one dimensional actress and Baldoni (as much love as he is getting for his post-production promotions) butchered the direction. All the sweet or dark nuanced parts of the book that make the characters three dimensional, were left out of the movie. What was a left was a really choppy edit that dragged, where there was no character development and where you didn't really care about anyone in it. I would love to see this as a TV series as I don't think a 1-2 hour long movie can do justice to a topic such as this. Disappointed to say the least.

Very funny, but sometimes I was laughing at how cringe it was. Alia's outfits were amazing, but who wears sarees ALL the time? Ranveer Singh acted well but then it was literally his real life personality on screen. What let it down the most was the story! What a mess. The old couple made me cringe so much!!! And it definitely did not live up to the hype for me. I expected much more grandeur from it, I expected the songs to be better and I definitely wanted the story to be better.
