I have been excited to see this show since I saw the first trailer for it, and now that I'm actually seeing it, I love it! Sadly, I am also seeing a lot of people upset that Naomi doesn't have, "conflict", especially since she's Black. Nevermind that she's an alien and teenager lol! Believe it or not, some People Of Color, even in real life, are NOT hated by everyone and I like how the show highlights that. I think it's awesome how smart she is, how unique her personality is and how she pays homage to her culture with those beautiful braids and other things she does, says and wears. She's herself and she's popular. Nothing wrong with that! This is only the second episode though, so I'm sure as the show progresses there will be conflicts that she faces, and I'm so looking forward to how she handles them!
