NO SPOILERS AND FOR CANON FANS
There is so much here that cannot be understood just from the original movies. They have added stuff from the video-games, canon, and, Tv shows, and even books.
Understandable that people would be confused because there is a lot. However, it is masterfully done and in time I would argue the nuanced complexity may make it in the top-2 of the best Star Wars movies of all time. Time will tell.
