My Mom, Emma Jean Eisleben, was a subject of a program. She represented Missouri in the Miss America pageant in 1943 in Atlantic City (with Bert Parks). She was totally surprised to be called to the stage and have her story told. Ralph Edwards awarded her and my Dad, Charles, an all-expenses-paid trip to Las Vegas.
