These people aren’t being miserable, toxic, or any of that nonsense. They’re just not lying to themselves… This is a cash grab by the owners of the franchise who will happily throw the brands name around for any and every dollar. At best this is a female teenage drama that happens to have zombies in it. Calling it Resident Evil is huge stretch.
